Apple in Mumbai: Tim Cook set to inaugurate first store in India


The Apple CEO tweeted that he "can't wait to welcome" customers to the new store in Mumbai city.

                     Apple CEO Tim Cook is set to inaugurate the tech giant's first official retail store in India, located in the city of Mumbai. The store, situated in the upscale Maker Maxity mall in the Bandra Kurla Complex, will feature a unique design inspired by India's rich cultural heritage. Apple has been expanding its presence in India in recent years, with a focus on manufacturing and retail. The opening of the Mumbai store is seen as a major milestone in the company's efforts to tap into India's rapidly growing market for consumer electronics, which is expected to reach $400 billion by 2025.
